  • Maneuvering around Edgenuity

    Your classes are listed on the page you log into. Click on your class to be brought to the navigation for that specific class. 

    How to submit homework

    After completing your assignment, locate the assignment within the course, click "Attach" or "Browse," find the file on your computer, select it, and then click "Upload" and "Submit my work"

    How to reach a teacher

    Browse the directory on the 5RiversOnline website to find their email address or respond to a "Reach my Teach" message

    How to login to Edgenuity?

    Go to https://clever.com/in/gced, there's a Log in with Google button: If you are using your school's device you will need to select "use other account". Use your GCED email and password. Click on the Edgenuity App and you will be logged into your Edgenuity account and be able to see your courses.

  • My keys are typing a different language:

    In the lower left corner of your screen there should be the letters "US" if there is something different (i.e. ES or DV) click on the letters and choose English US for your keyboard type

    My camera isn't working:

    Some of the chromebooks have sliders that cover the camera for privacy. It may be hard to see but there should be a small slider cover that you can slide to the right to uncover your camera

    I can't hear the teacher or videos:

    Your chromebook has a mute button on it that looks like a speaker with a slash through it, press that button to unmute your chromebook.

     

    My chromebook won't power on:

    #1 Connect charger.

    • Pressed Esc+Refresh+Power. (Refresh is the round arrow a couple keys down from Esc).

    • While keeping those keys pressed, disconnect the charger.

    • Press the power button for 2 seconds.

    • Connect the charger.

    • Press the power button once.

    • Wait at least 40seconds to see if it powers up.


    #2 If that doesn't work, try this:

    • "Power wash" - Hold Ctrl, Shft, Alt, R. Let it sit and try to turn on again.


    #3 If all else fails, try this:

    • "Reboot" - Hold Esc, Refresh (symbol of a half circle with an arrow, above the 4 I think), and the power button. Then turn it off and back on.
