PLC Takes Top Prize
The 2020-21 school year at River Bluff Education Center wrapped up well and we congratulate all of our teams' work this year. Our PLCs engaged in training modules on our targeted Marzano elements. These learning opportunities provided by our instructional coach, Weston Johnson, included gamification. And now in the true spirit of competition, it is time to recognize our leading PLC this year. Drumroll please....the winning PLC is Swimming Upstream! Congratulations PLC Leader Emily Grobe and the Elementary Reach/Upwards PLC for earning a 94% on all quizzes from the training modules this year. The team, consisting of Julie Braford, Erica Cordes, Joni Schake, Stephanie Schiltz, celebrated their success with a French Toast Breakfast made by Coach Johnson. Well done!
PLC Westie Awards
Sh'moneh, RBEC's secondary Reach/Step PLC, may not have won a French Toast Breakfast, but they still have winners abound! Tira Petersen, Secondary PLC Leader, shared her team's winning attributes with the PLC WESTIE AWARDS!
Our instructional coaching team went through changes to adapt to the needs with our varied learning models this year. Further changes are under foot as we say goodbye to some coaches. Suzanne Griffin, ZM, is headed to Arkansas where her husband is being relocated for work. Kim Betcher and Dave Craft are headed to retirement fun. We wish you all well on your next adventure; we miss you already.
